NP! Sent few minutes ago :D
I ordered a Vgate iCar Pro 4.0 last weekend and will try Sidecar on my Supra when it arrives.
Plan to shift OBDLink MX+ back to Supra (acutally it's originally used on Supra to see OBD gauges:P) and use iCar Pro on X3.
Should be Okay I think?

Hi @jeff ,
Just try Sidecar on Supra.
The experience is very similar to X3, since it's basically a BMW, too lol.
BTW, I also found that I made a typo to Supra's VIN.
However, it seems that the VIN cannot be edited from garage page, so I delete the wrong one and add the correct one in setting page.
But the garage page isn't updated accordingly, and there shows 2 supra'20s now :(
Is there a way to correct it?

Oh, I just re-add the wrong VIN back to the setting page and force iCloud sync (not sure if this step matters), then delete the wrong VIN again.
Now the supra with wrong VIN disappeared from garage page :)

This is helpful, thank you! Might be a bug in the iCloud sync then. I'll look into it.

Hi @jeff ,
just found my free trial of full sidecar+ plan is expired yesterday.
Great to see v1.21.0 is on so that I can switch to scan plan, but found that scan plan isn't available for me.
Could it be an APP store issue?

Oh no I just saw that Apple didn’t approve the new plans :( they’re still pending review. I’ll see if I can expedite them - apologies for the confusion.

Looks like I've unfortunately encountered https://forums.developer.apple.com/foru ... 024?page=3 and the resolution seems to require escalation with Apple support :( I'll see if I can submit an updated version of the app right now that removes the ScanPlan UX temporarily at least so that it's not confusing; I'll have to then resubmit a new build once the ScanPlan subscriptions are formally approved.

Understood!
Not sure if fresh user also cannot choose scan plan?
If yes, it’s really confusing a bit.
Thank you mate :)

@chihengyang can you share the set of Connectables that are appearing and look valid for your X3 btw?

@chihengyang A few commands we can try running to see if we can wire up some more parameters.

Tire speeds?

Code: Select all

ATCEA29
ATSH6F1
ATCRA629
ATFCSD29300000
ATFCSM1
22DBE4

This might get us tire speed, which we might eventually be able to use to pull tire pressure.

Time in gears

Code: Select all

ATCEA18
ATSH6F1
ATCRA618
ATFCSD18300000
ATFCSM1
22DA37

Just for fun, this might show us how long the car is spent in various gears.

Once you've ran the above, please send your OBD logs to support@clutch.engineering.

@jeff I'll give this a go as well. Same gen X3 so should work in theory. BMW shows tire temps as well so something to also look for if we can get tire pressure values.

May be dumb questions here, but how to share the set of connectable and how to run these commands? :?:
