Ahhhh that’s why the parameters aren’t showing up in CarPlay, it looks like your scanner isn’t mapping the detected VIN to your car. Have you set up fallback VIN behavior for your car in the Settings tab?
When connected to your scanner, tap the scanner to go to its details page. In that page, you should see an option to set up an override VIN. Go through that flow to map the NE3… vin to your vehicle.
I tested the app with Car Play during the weekend on a round trip. It worked fine with the Battery charge remaining and the tire pressure widgets visible. There is a lag where the battery charge remaining being updated. However, on the way back, it seemed to work fine until I had to stop midway at a rest stop. When I connected it back, the battery charge remaining and the tire pressure widgets were not visible.
I will keep testing it and get back to you with the results.
I added the mileage left widget but it is not being updated. Attached is a screenshot. Also the Battery charge is not updating as another screenshot shows. Not sure how often is is updated.
Here is another issue. I had the State of charge, tire pressure and mileage widgets selected. However only the mileage widget is being displayed. It was fine later in the day when I went on another drive. I also noticed something else. When I start, it shows the widgets and everything works fine. If I stop in between and connect to CarPlay and launch SideCar the widgets don’t appear on the screen.
