🛑 [blocked on tester feedback] Lexus IS300 2021

Post by anaqi »

Got a Vgate iCar Pro 2S OBD to test out sidecar.

I also have a Toyota connectable account that I've linked in sidecar.

OBD pairs with Sidecar. It can read the VIN, but nothing else is readable. I see the lock button after connecting Toyota online account, but I'm getting an error when I click on that. Attaching screenshots.

Created a post as per instructions, I can share logs if that's helpful. Thanks for your help!

Removed the Toyota connected account and just using OBD, this is what I see. Emailing the obdlogs too. Thanks!

Thanks for sending the logs! Some next steps to see if we can get your car talking to us.

In a new Terminal session in Sidecar, please run the following commands:

Code: Select all

010D
ATSH7E1
010D
ATSH7E0
010D

This will test the vehicle speed parameter on the two ECUs that are reporting support for it.

Then, in a new terminal session, please run the following:

Code: Select all

ATTA2A
010D
ATSH7E1
010D
ATSH7E0
010D

And then in one more new terminal session, please run the following:

Code: Select all

ATTA2A
ATSH750
ATFCSH750
ATFCSD2A300000
ATCEA2A
ATFCSM1
2130

Once you've ran the above, if any data was returned by any of these methods please send another OBD log export. If all of the commands responded with "NO DATA" though, then just share a screenshot of the responses here and we'll try another set of command sequences.

This decoding error is fixed and will go out in v1.19. Thank you for the report!

Thank you for sending the logs! So it looks like your car is only wanting to respond to the general diagnostic tool requests, so let's try one more command sequence:

Code: Select all

ATSH7DF
010D

The issue here looks similar to the one affecting the BMW X3 and Toyota Tacoma. Will be prioritizing a fix for this in the next Sidecar release. For now there's not much we can do remotely via the OBDb, so hold tight!
