I've got a VGate iCar Pro BLE scanner, but it never pops up under the list of available scanners. I can confirm it works and connects to my phone by using the Car Scanner App.

iOS only allows scanners to be visible and connected to one app on your phone at a time. In order for Sidecar to connect, you'll need to make sure that no other app is connected to your scanner first. The best way to ensure this is to completely close the CarScanner app, but it should be sufficient to just disconnect from your scanner there first.

Thanks for the info Jeff. I've confirmed the Car Scanner app was closed fully. Note: The VGate does not show up as something you can pair to in the Bluetooth list.
It still will not show up under the list of scanners on the Sidecar app. Downloaded ELM Check and will confirm connection and speed results and will post back.
I was able to connect to Sidecar using ELM Check first, but the report is limited since I dont yet have the promo code for either app. Awaiting that I can provide more feedback. Thanks
@b2pointoh were you able to get your scanner connected to Sidecar with any of the latest Sidecar releases?

@jeff yes I was! Able to connect and see some params off the OBD such as tire pressure. Can’t see anything on the dash widget as the 30 seconds passes pretty quickly.
@b2pointoh ah amazing! If you shoot me your OBD logs I'll generate a promo code for you so that we can tune any additional parameters

Sent your code over! Can you confirm here which Connectables are appearing for your Cayenne? I'm curious in particular if there's any interesting diesel-specific parameters you're seeing or would want to see? Does Sidecar correctly display the fuel type in the Parameters > Fuel page?

Ah yes it looks like your car's reporting a bunch of parameters that I haven't implemented yet in the SAEJ1979 standard. I'll take a look at wiring those up for the next Sidecar release.
