To support Tesla commands it looks like I need to add a step to the Tesla login flow that gets you to install a virtual key in your car that acknowledges you're ok with Sidecar being able to initiate commands remotely. I need someone with a Tesla account to verify that I'm setting the flow up correctly though. Anyone with a Tesla, if you can visit the following page, follow the instructions, and report the results back here, that would be super helpful!

Documentation context: https://developer.tesla.com/docs/fleet- ... e-commands

Appears to have worked for me as shown in the screenshots. However, I haven’t received the promo code so can’t confirm whether the commands are working.

@jasontwright check your mail :) I believe commands might not work until I spin up an instance of https://github.com/teslamotors/vehicle-command. Going to be looking into that today.

I've just finished setting up the infrastructure required to support remote commands with Teslas. @Model 3 owners @Model S owners @Model Y owners Who is able/interested in testing out a TestFlight build with the new command functionality?
