🛑 BMW Z4 [waiting for beta tester responses]

Post by StanDiego »

I'm starting a new thread for the BMW Z4 model years 2019+. Mine is a '22 s30i. I'm just getting the ball rolling with beta testing.

Thank you! The exported logs are the app logs though; we'll need the OBD scanning sessions database in order to start onboarding the vehicle proper: https://sidecar.clutch.engineering/help ... -scan-logs

I just sent you a second set of OBD logs because I couldn't recall with certainty whether I had the engine running when connected. Below are the Connectables.

To test the Z4 we first need to see if we can get the car to respond with its ECU details using the sequence below:

Code: Select all

ATFCSH6F1
ATFCSD4030FF32
ATFCSM1
ATSH6F1
ATCRA640
ATCEA40
22F150

Please run the above in a Sidecar terminal session and then email your OBD scanlogs (https://sidecar.clutch.engineering/help ... -scan-logs) to support@clutch.engineering.

Logs sent. FWIW, I can currently see my fuel level but, probably as expected, not my TPMS.

By the way, I saw someone register to beta test the "Toyota / Supra 3.0 / 2020". I suspect there's a very good chance my Z4 configuration will work for them as well because drivetrain and most electronics are shared from the 2019+ BMW Z4.
