Post by StanDiego »

I'm starting a new thread for the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid (HEV) model years 2022+. My vehicle is a '24 HEV Limited.

Thank you @StanDiego! Once you send me an export of your OBD logs I'll generate a promo code for you and we can start validating your car's parameters :)

I just sent two emails, one for my BMW Z4 and one for my Hyundai Tucson. I discovered after the fact that apparently all vehicle data is stored in the same log. Sorry for any confusion or additional work.

All good — looks like you may have sent the app logs instead of the OBD scanning sessions. https://sidecar.clutch.engineering/help ... -scan-logs are the instructions for exporting the OBD sessions :)

I just sent you a second set of OBD logs because I couldn't recall with certainty whether I had the engine running when connected. I received an error message that the VIN could not be read. Below are the Connectables.

@StanDiego I've split the Tucson repository into a new Tucson Hybrid repo on the OBDb, which will require a quick adjustment for you in Sidecar so that you're pointing to the correct repository. To do so:

  1. Open Sidecar.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Vehicles & accounts
  4. Tap your offline vehicle.
  5. Change the model name from "Tucson" to "Tucson Hybrid"
  6. Tap back.
  7. Force-quit Sidecar and relaunch it.
  8. Open your vehicle's Parameters page.
  9. Refresh your parameters.
  10. Confirm that your Parameters > Tires parameters have a TUCSONHYB prefix instead of just a TUCSON prefix.

Also based on the logs you sent me it looks like Sidecar didn't attempt to run any of the TPMS parameter values. Once you do the above migration to the Hybrid repo, please re-connect to your vehicle and navigate through each of the Parameters screens for your Tucson Hybrid, and then share the OBD scan sessions again to support@clutch.engineering.

Awesome. Are the tire pressure values getting read from your vehicle now?

No, not that I can tell. I believe I have the tires selected to display at the bottom but the display doesn't change whether tires are selected or not.
