Just a quick update. I downloaded the new version of the app and I'm still getting the same errors.

OK logs sent.

I should also note, if it helps, that Home Assistant has a plugin for BWM iDrive that works: https://www.home-assistant.io/integrati ... ted_drive/

I don’t seem to have that option at all. The OBD scanner shows as connected but it isn’t pulling any data or even the VIN (I added it manually as the fallback).

Where would I find those logs?

I can see the scanner, it appears to connect but it can’t detect the VIN and it shows no connectables to run.

So, I’m using a OBDlink CX and it doesn’t seem to be able to connect to my car.

Right now I connect via Bimmerlink, not the OBD app so I’m wondering if that is why.

I now have the app installed and a OBDlink CX. I don't seem to be able to reply to PMs but I'm ready for a code.
